Cha (차) is relatively uncommon family name with only one hanja representing it.[1] The hanja (車) means "vehicle" and is usually referring to a car. Additionally, her surname may be a reference to tea, which is also one of the meanings for the hangul character (차).[2] Her given name, Eun-jae, means "silver" (은)[3] and "pass" (재).[4]
