Boys Over Flowers, also released as Hana Yori Dango, is an anime series based on Yoko Kamio's manga and produced by Toei Animation. It aired on Sundays at 8:30 AM from September 1996[1] to August 1997, ending at fifty-one episodes.[2] The final six episodes of the anime are an original story line since it wrapped up before the end of the manga.[3]
